The City of Boston is proud to present a resplendent glow of its local LGBTQ+ leaders with the Portraits of Pride exhibit, a mesmerizing fusion of artistry and history, set against the majestic backdrop of City Hall Plaza on June 1st through June 30th.
From June 1st to June 30th, the very essence of human triumph and resilience will be immortalized through the lens of the esteemed photographer, John Huet. His masterful photography, meticulously curated by the visionary Jean Dolin, will ignite a fire within your soul, leaving an indelible mark upon your consciousness.
This renovated ground of the plaza will be adorned with the captivating visages of the 2023 honorees of Portraits of Pride- the luminaries of Massachusetts' LGBTQ+ community, the fearless pioneers who have forged paths of progress and shattered barriers, come together in a harmonious symphony of achievement.
In this grand ode to diversity, the tapestry of Pride unfurls revealing the relentless spirit of those who have dared to challenge societal norms and redefine the boundaries of identity, and love. The installation features portraits of public servants, entrepreneurs, business leaders, legal luminaries, and unwavering activists whose stories echo through time as they as they articulate the true meaning of PRIDE in their own resounding words.
